Each Cabana Suite features a spacious, tented Main Deck (20′ x 20′) with modular lounge seating and cocktail tables with bar-height chairs. Inside, the Hospitality Area (8′ x 20′) includes a banquet table; a console to station food, gifts, or decorations; and a bar for beverages. The second-story Observation Deck offers elevated views with cocktail tables, chairs, and market umbrellas.
Each Cabana Suite can accommodate up to 50 people. Up to two adjacent Cabana Suites can be combined to create one contiguous space for larger groups of up to 100 people.
Many hosts and their vendors, such as caterers, arrive early to setup for their event. You and your vendors may enter the Cabana Suite up to three hours before the match begins. Your guests may enter up to two hours before the match begins.

A private bar by Newport Polo offers dedicated, professional beverage service experience tailored to your event. Choose a selection of wine, beer, and cocktails from our menu designed by The Cocktail Guru. A private bartender ensures seamless beverage service, with our team taking care of all bar setup, restocking, and breakdown.
Private bar fees are invoiced in advance. Consumption charges and gratuity can either be fully hosted (due at the close of your event) or offered to guests as a cash bar. For hosts seeking an elevated event, additional services are available including a champagne welcome toast, signature cocktails designed for your event, and an expanded selection of premium cocktails. You may instead bring your own beverages, including alcohol; or opt to not have beverage service. Due to licensing and laws regarding the sale of alcohol, external vendors may not operate a bar in the Cabanas.
The Main Deck and Hospitality Area have step-free access via an ADA-compliant ramp. The second-story Observation Deck does not have step-free access and is only accessible by staircase.
Parking is included for all cabana guests. Pick-ups and drop-offs at the Cabana Suites are not allowed.
Each Cabana Suite includes one reserved service parking spot behind the structure which can be used for loading and unloading before and after the event.
You will receive advance tickets to distribute to your guests. Tickets grant entry to the polo grounds and the Cabana Suite. Newport Polo does not manage guest lists, will call, or on-site ticket distribution.
Furniture can be rearranged within the space but cannot be moved between or out of the Cabana Suite without approval. We welcome and encourage decorations, but they must fall within our guidelines. The following are not allowed:
We want your event to be both safe and successful, so we may deny decorations at our discretion. Please contact us to discuss any questions related to decorations.
You and your vendors are responsible for removing decorations and bagging all trash. Our team will remove properly bagged trash throughout the event.
The event host is responsible for all vendor arrangements. Vendors must be licensed and insured in Rhode Island, and you must provide us with the relevant documents before the event in accordance with your rental agreement. Vendors may not sell products or distribute samples anywhere on the polo grounds.
A refundable security deposit is due before the event in accordance with your contract.
