Newport Polo fires up its first Coastal Cowboy BBQ Cook-Off
What could be more Coastal Cowboy than smoke curling over the sidelines, something sinful sizzling on the grill, and a finger-lickin’ feast among friends?
Rub those ribs, perfect those chicken skins and marinate those steak tips—it’s time to show off the grilling chops you’ve been honing all summer. Chef to the Stars Kev D, Food Network veteran and Culinary Director at the Newport Mansions, will roam the Tailgates, Chalets and West Lawn beginning at 3:15PM Saturday, tasting his way toward Newport Polo’s first Coastal Cowboy BBQ Champion during the season-ending Turkish Airlines Finals.
Marinated for life? Rubbed and ready? Is the secret in the sauce? Have your best bite hot and ready when Chef Kev comes calling.
The champion will be crowned by halftime, earning BBQ bragging rights and a prize package headlined by the very first 2027 Newport Polo Season Lawn Pass.
