The 35th Newport International Polo Series officially kicks off when the Box Office opens on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 10:00 AM! This year marks not only 35 years of the Polo Series, but also the historic 150th Anniversary of our polo club. The Diamond Jubilee will be a landmark season that once again circles the globe from South America to South Africa, and Europe to Mongolia. At the grounds, we’re preparing to celebrate our Jubilee with a significant expansion to the TD Pavilion, a once-in-a-century Diamond Jubilee Trophy, big improvements to amenities all around the Lawn, and updates to some policies—all with the goal of making match day fun, safe, and comfortable for everyone while preserving what spectators love about Newport Polo.
The Box Office will open at right at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Tickets are sold exclusively online at newportpolo.com. Use these tips to ensure a smooth checkout:
- Check out for each match one by one. You cannot add tickets from multiple matches to your cart at the same time.
- You must check out within 10 minutes of loading a ticket page. After 10 minutes, any tickets in your cart will be released.
- Do not refresh the ticket page or click the back button when you have tickets in your cart. If you do, your cart will clear and the tickets you selected will be unavailable for 10 minutes.
- Click the Newport Polo logo on any ticketing page to return to the list of matches.
- After checkout, you will receive a confirmation email and receipt for each completed purchase. All tickets will be distributed electronically on the Monday prior to the match.
- Only TD Pavilion tables, Tailgates, and Chalets are chosen on the seating chart. For other tickets, select a quantity from the dropdown.
Improved Weather Policy
We have a new and improved weather policy! If a match is postponed, it will be played on the rain date, which is always the next day, Sunday. Your tickets will automatically transfer to the new date. If the match is then cancelled, you will receive a credit to use for tickets for future matches. Under our old policy, we did not offer any credit or refund if the match was cancelled. New Capacity Limits for all 2026 Matches
This year, every match has a capacity limit. When matches sell out, tickets will not be available at the gate, and only those with tickets purchased in advance online will be permitted entry.
Each season we welcome more guests from near and far, and we want to ensure that every match day remains safe, comfortable, and enjoyable for everyone. Setting capacity limits helps us maintain the high-quality experience that spectators expect and deserve.
Tailgate and Chalet purchases now require Lawn tickets
Due to the new capacity limit, a minimum of 10 Lawn tickets must be purchased along with a single Tailgate or Chalet. Existing ticket minimums for larger groups are unchanged. This requirement ensures that tailgaters have enough tickets available for their guests and prevents situations where their invitees are turned away at the gate. We carefully observed the use of tailgates and chalets during matches last summer, and we are confident that all Lawn tickets sold alongside Tailgates and Chalets will be well used.
One vehicle per Tailgate
Last year, we permitted one vehicle per Chalet and two vehicles per Tailgate. This year, we permit one vehicle per Chalet and one vehicle per Tailgate. Safety at polo is our first priority, and multiple rows of cars between tailgates and the road was unsafe for spectators, especially children who played there. We have added even more free parking just across the road, within feet of each tailgate.
Free Child Ticket Required for Children 15 and under
Children 15 and under who are accompanied by an adult get free admission to polo matches. This year, to maintain our capacity limits, children 15 and under require a free ticket. You must purchase a Lawn ticket to reserve free Child tickets. You can reserve up to three free Child tickets per Lawn ticket.
