General Terms

A Newport Polo ticket is a revocable license. Newport Polo reserves the right to, at its sole discretion: revoke this license, refuse admission, or eject from the premises any ticket holder without refund or recompense; for any reason, including but not limited to: disorderly conduct, abusive language, interference with the match, or failure to comply with venue policies or local, state, or federal laws.

Newport Polo reserves the right to alter reservations and/or the event schedule without advance notice, including but not limited to: reassigning seating locations or reserved areas; modifying the venue layout, spacing, and occupancy limits; and changing the match schedule, start time, or team lineups.

By using this ticket, the Ticket Holder voluntarily assumes all liability and risk for any loss, theft, property damage, personal injury, or death occurring on the premises from any cause whatsoever. This assumption of risk includes, without limitation, dangers incidental to the sport of polo and the venue, such as flying objects, horses, and venue structures or conditions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Ticket Holder agrees to waive all claims against and hold harmless Newport Polo, participating players and clubs, the United States Polo Association, the Town of Portsmouth, and their agents and employees (the “Released Parties”) from any and all loss, liability, actions, suits, proceedings, or claims, including without limitation associated attorney’s fees and expenses, resulting from or arising out of the Ticket Holder’s presence on the premises. This release applies to any injury, death, property damage, or loss, notwithstanding that it may have been caused by the negligent act or omission of the Released Parties.

Refund Policy

All ticket sales are final unless the criteria below are met. All approved refunds are subject to a 10% restocking fee. Service fees are non-refundable. Refunds are made to the original payment method within 30 days of an approved request. Email refund requests to info@newportpolo.com.

• Lawn Tickets: Request a refund 8 days or more before the scheduled event date. No refunds are given for requests made 7 days or less before the scheduled event date.
• All Other Tickets: Request a refund 8 days or more before the scheduled event date. Refunds for requests made 7 days or less before the scheduled event date are possible at the sole discretion of Newport Polo and are contingent upon the ability to successfully resell the ticket.

Group Sales Tickets are subject to the refund timeline and policies in the associated contract.

Weather Policy

Newport Polo makes every effort to hold matches on the scheduled date. However, Newport Polo may delay, postpone, reschedule, or suspend the match due to inclement weather or emergencies. Check newportpolo.com for the latest information.

• Delay: A match may be delayed and played at a later time on the same day.
• Postponement: A match may be postponed to the Rain Date, which is always the following day. All tickets automatically transfer to the Rain Date.
• Cancellation: If the match cannot be played on the Rain Date, it will be cancelled. All ticket purchasers will be issued a credit for the face value of their tickets which can be used to purchase future tickets.
• Suspension: If an in-progress match is suspended, the remainder will not be rescheduled, and the match will be considered complete.

No refunds are made for matches that are delayed, postponed, rescheduled, or suspended. Newport Polo is not responsible for any losses or damages incurred due to match delay, postponement, rescheduling, or suspension.

Miscellaneous Policies

Newport Polo is the exclusive owner of all copyright and other proprietary rights of the event and shall have the unrestricted right and license to use the ticket holder’s likeness as included in any broadcast (live or recorded), telecast or photograph taken in connection with the event. The holder grants permission to Newport Polo and licensees to utilize the ticket holder’s image or likeness incidental to any live or recorded video display or other transmission or reproduction, in whole or in part, of the event to which this ticket grants admission, for any purpose whatsoever including commercial purposes.
